High Dynamic Range Lying was created, and is maintained solely, by Nayan Ramachandran, a freelance journalist living just outside of Boulder CO. Nayan returns to America after spending a three year stint as an English Teacher in Kobe, in the Kansai Region of Japan. Nayan graduated from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD in May 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts in English, concentrating in Writing.

Nayan originally created HDRL as a counter-balance to redundant news-based journalism in favor of a gaming oriented editorial forum on the japanese and global technological zeitgeist. Game reviews and useless artbook photos seem to sneak onto the site once in a while, though.

Nayan spends much of his time outside of HDRL playing games, reading, sucking at the Japanese language, and wasting all his hard earned money on alcohol and food. When he’s not doing any of those things, he can usually be found failing to write his book.

Feel free to drop Nayan a line if you’d like at thetrin@gmail.com.
